About Me:
I begin and end each day with gratitude for the high highs, low lows, and everything in between that has been my life thus far. Since my move to the Bay Area a year and a half ago, I have definitely been riding the "high highs." I met my life partner, Onno, and we now live together in San Anselmo, CA, which is a darling town north of SF. I'm endlessly happy to be back in Nor Cal after being in So Cal for 7 years, although I miss my San Diego communities very much. I've met some great people in Marin, and I think this will be our home for many years to come. The most exciting news is that I just completed the first half of my Chinese medical schooling and will begin practicing acupuncture in my school's clinic in May. I have also completed my certification in Medical Qi Gong and I plan to launch my business, North Bay Medical Arts, in the spring. I will keep you posted on my Qi Gong classes as well as my availability for Chinese medical treatments. I will also be substituting for local Nia dance classes and I hope to join a fire dance performance troupe this summer. I feel very blessed that Spirit is using me to help bring health and healing to the world. And if it wasn't for Shakti Rising (a young women's recovery empowerment program in San Diego), I would not be alive today. There are not enough words to capture my gratitude for recovery and the peace it has brought me. My dharma now is assist others in being free from suffering as well as attaining peace and happiness. What's your dharma? Thanks for visiting my profile and allowing me to share my story. I want to close with a quote by one of my greatest teachers, Marianne Williamson: "Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we have learned here. The spiritual journey is the relinquishment-or unlearning-of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts. Love is the essential existential fact. It is our ultimate reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life." Read her book, “Return to Love.” It will change your life! Namaste....
