Profile Information

My status:
Licensed Acupuncturist, AIMC Berkeley Faculty, AIMC Berkeley Administrator, Other
My Acupuncture School
Goto College of Arts & Sciences, Emperor's College
My current state of mind:
Open & Peaceful
My Tagline:
Acupuncture is all about balancing Yin & Yang!
Acupuncture education/license level:
I got my license!
My acupuncture story:
At age 20, a message was delivered to me that I am to be an acupuncturist. I was then in San Francisco. I went back to Japan to study acupuncture at Goto College. Three years later, I was a licensed acupuncturist, moxibustionist, and anma/massage/shiatsu therapist.
Worked in hospital for over 5 years before moving to the US, mainly treating stroke patient with "Xingnao Kaiqiao Fa" the innovational TCM acupuncture protocol for hemiplegia. At that time, my main modality was TCM based. In Japan, the acupuncturists are limited to use only acupuncture as a treatment method and was not allowed to use herbal medicine. I was in search for the place where I can use both modalities. My option was to go to China or California.
I also graduated from Emperor's College in Santa Monica and am licensed in California. I have my practice in Torrance since 1994.
I now use both Japanese and Chinese style acupuncture methods to better serve my patients.
My treatment is just like a "Mixed Juice". I put all kind of fruit in it and if once likes apple, then my juice I serve will have more apple in it.
If I can make my patient smile, then I'm fulfilled!
My favorite modality:
Japanese Style Acupuncture, TCM Acupuncture, and Xingnao Kaiqiao Fa (Stroke Protocol of Acupuncture Tx)
About Me:
I'm a licensed acupuncturist in Japan and California with the clinical experience over 21 years. Currently treat patients at my clinic in Torrance, California.

Thanx Atsuki. I practice Japanese style in that I always use osheidae and sashidae. I also practice non-insertion style, but little else. I thirst to learn more.
